STUDY: The Role of the Canadian Oil Sands in the US Market (IHS CERA)

A key uncertainty about the future role of the Canadian oil sands is whether the US government will allow production from Canada to expand its reach into the United States. The US Department of State (DoS) is reviewing the application by TransCanada to build a pipeline from alberta, Canada, to the US Gulf Coast.
